Hello, I'm Mrs. Rosa Lerlo, the third grade teacher at Saint Jerome School. I graduated from Holy Family University with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Elementary and Elementary Education. I also received my Master’s in Education at Holy Family University. I have been teaching for 17 years and enjoy helping students develop academically and socially. I started teaching at Saint Bernard School, where I taught second grade, third grade, and started a kindergarten program. I have been teaching at Saint Jerome School since 2009. I teach Religion, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I'm also the director of our successful Camp Jerome. I absolutely love and enjoy being a teacher here at Saint Jerome School, especially because we have wonderful children and supportive parents.
I have been teaching third grade for over 12 years and I absolutely love and enjoy this grade. Although it is a transitional year for the students and can be challenging especially with the additional graded subjects of Social Studies and Science, I try my best to make this educational experience pleasant and fun. I use various websites to engage the students to develop and improve their mental math skills. I intergrade projects to conclude a unit and ensure to complete all projects in class.
